The History
1892 - 1935
Pittsburg, Kansas, founded as a mining town 1876, was a thriving place to have a medical practice succeed. The Euclid house was completed in 1892. Arthur Moberg purchased it shortly thereafter.
"Dr. Arthur Moberg born in Illinois and graduated from the Marion Simms Medical College at St. Louis in 1887, practicing medicine at the St. Louis City Hospital. He came to Pittsburg and opened a medical practice in about 1898 and died in Pittsburg 20 May 1935." (2015, PittsburgKSmemories.com)

1998
Vicki on Euclid underwent extensive renovations in an attempt to modernize the home. Unfortunately, in the modernization, aspects in the home like the interior crown molding, the kitchen, and original bath were replaced. On the other hand, beautiful painting in the Hearth Room and the Drawing Room were painstakingly done on the ceiling. These renovations included a new roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, adding a bathroom off the kitchen, smoothing out the lath & plaster with a skim coat of mud (which subsequently cracked), adding closets to the Master Bedroom, and finishing a small part of the attic for a bedroom.
